The Jak and Daxter Game Series

The Jak and Daxter game series is awesome and provides excellent gameplay! It is one of my favorite game series along with Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper. Here's a little information about each game.

The Precursor Legacy has awesome gameplay and a great story! The story is one thing that I fell in love with right away! The story: While exploring some ancient ruins on a forbidden island off the coast, Jak's best friend, Daxter, is knocked into a vat of Dark Eco--a terrifying and deadly substance that could corrupt the world forever--transforming him into a weasel-like rodent.
The village sage, Samos Hagai, tells Jak that there's only one person who holds the secrets to transforming Daxter back. Now the pair must set out on a quest in search of a wise old sage who has the power to restore Daxter to his former self.

Jak II is an epic game in my opinion! It has epic music, epic gameplay, and an epic story! As well as The Precursor Legacy! The Story: In this darker themed follow-up to Jak and Daxter, hero Jak tries to control the dark eco injected into his system and, with his sidekick Daxter, attempts to thwart the tyrannical powers ruining Haven City. Players earn the chance to wield four heavy-duty weapons, they can jack any vehicle in the GTA-inspired city, and they have a chance to use a jetboard to navigate special platform levels, a la Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Players explore a massive city on foot or by using a surfeit of hovering vehicles. There are also mini-games, such as races and skateparks to venture through, and many intriguing characters to experience.

Jak 3 is even more epic than Jak II, and as far as I'm concerned, it's awesome and action-packed! It's an awesome game! The Story: Jak and his faithful companion Daxter are exiled to the unforgiving wasteland, where survival of the fittest is the law of the land. But deadly lands and dangerous creatures are only the beginning. Soon, the worst nightmare imaginable finds Jak's world, threatening to annihilate all life with eternal darkness...
The third and final chapter of the Jak & Daxter series concludes the epic trilogy in an exciting new open world that stretches from the farthest reaches of the wasteland to the strife-torn heart of the city. New and improved vehicles will allow the duo to traverse this vast land, and new weapons and powers will allow Jak to defeat this world's more deadly foes as he battles to save civilization from itself, and perhaps discover the truth behind the Precursor mystery.

This game differs from The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3. But it is a fun game! The Story: The story of JAK X weaves together several different plots that began in the previous games. Krew, a villain from JAK II, is dead, and Jak and Dexter are asked to attend the reading of his will along with Sig, Ashelin, Krew's daughter Rayn, and others. One of Krew's requests is that everyone drink a toast in his honor; however, the wine is poisoned The rest of Krew's instructions are then revealed: if any of the characters can win the Kras City Grand Championship in his name, they will be given the antidote. With no choice in the matter, the group enters the race, but soon, each is vying to win no matter what. The game features four different cups consisting of 20 challenges each, plus a large number of unlockable extras like more tracks, car upgrades, new racers, and more. Different weapons and abilities are available on each track, allowing players to fire lasers and create oil slicks to stop their opponents. JAK X: COMBAT RACING will keep players on their toes as they attempt to win the race and the antidote.

Basically this is Jak 4, but Naughty Dog decided to name it The Lost Frontier instead. I think this game is amazing! The Story: Jak and his sidekick, Daxter, begin the game escorting Keira on her journey to become a Sage. After an encounter with Captain Phoenix, an eco-seeking Sky Pirate, Jak crash-lands and sets off in search of eco with which to repair his Hellcat. After a successful take-off, Jak must fight off Sky Pirates attacking the ACS Behemoth, which is owned by Duke Skyheed of Aeropa. Jak is given an instrument called the Eco Seeker. He is unable to power it because the excess Dark Eco in the area prevents him from using his own eco powers, but Keira is granted permission to study it for a week if Jak proves himself in the Danger course. Daxter also escapes from the underground of Aeropa, but not unscathed: tainted further by Dark Eco, he is now black, spiky and in no mood for soft underpants.
